At Sudbury Park Lawn Cremation we understand that life can bring both joy and sorrow; and no one remains a stranger to the complexities of grief and bereavement for very long. That is why we believe it is important, as a community transfer service, to provide resources, guidance and helpful services to the families of Sudbury and the surrounding area. Naturally, we're all familiar with grief; it almost doesn't matter how young you are–dealing with loss can begin early. There are hidden losses in childhood: divorce, moving to a new community or school; even the loss of innocence. And then there's the childhood experience of death: either the death of a beloved family member, close friend, or pet. Then in adulthood, layer upon layer of losses can continue to wear us down, punctuated by the grief we know as bereavement, brought on by the loss of parents, siblings and friends. Our goal is to serve as an ally for families, young and old, of this community and be there as a trusted friend when the time does come to deal with death, grief and bereavement. If you find yourself bearing such a burden or have experienced the loss of someone you love, check out the resources listed below. And if you have questions about anything you see here, please call us at (705)586-2449. We pledge to do our best to support you in this difficult time.
